Jen Hunter, age 24, is a contestant on a British Reality TV show. She's a healthy size 12 and was reduced to tears by judges, who gave her harsh words because she "wasn't taking the exercise and diet program seriously". Can you believe this! I am always appalled by the standard of "Beauty" that society holds to women. I'm sorry...but I would rather be a size 12 than walk around showing my ribs and hip bones all the time. THAT should be considered indecent exposure.
Keep in mind that a British size 12 is an American size 10!
She's adorable, too. That is so sad.
And do you know what's the worst? It's not really even an American 10 - it's more like a six or eight! I went in college at 125 lbs, and 12s were the smallest I could wear!
Sad... I am about to have a girl, and I am bringing her up in this sick sick world on how people look at what beauty is. :-(
Jen Hunter looks sexy and beautiful. The other gal belongs on TV next to a tearful Sally Struthers ("Please send your money so this poor starving child can eat.")
The sad thing is that a lot of women wish they were stick-thin because the media has convinced them that it's sexier, but any normal guy you ask would probably prefer beautiful and curvy over painfully bony.

The girl in the top picture is too big? I don't think so! She looks strong and healthy and is absolutely beautiful. The girl in the bottom photo looks like she has some horrible wasting disease. I want to feed her cookies. Or anything, really. She looks like she hasn't eaten in weeks.

Even though I am a small thin person and people have said that I am too thin I get tired of hearing people commenting on weight and size.

BTW, woman on top would be a size 8 in most US brands because companies are so sensitive to consumer's inflated self-esteem.
